Just when it looked like the Baltimore Orioles‘ season couldn’t get any worse, Dylan Bundy made the wrong kind of history at Camden Yards.
The 25-year-old righty has been struggling since the last week of April, but given the Kansas City Royals’ patchwork lineup, Tuesday night appeared to be a good opportunity to turn things around. Instead, he gave up seven runs without retiring a single batter, making for one of the blackest nights in team history.
It didn’t take long for the wheels to come off for Bundy — after giving up a leadoff single to Jon Jay, he surrendered back-to-back-to-back homers to Jorge Soler, Mike Moustakas and Salvador Perez.
