The Baltimore Orioles finally put a stop to their ugly losing streak, beating the Detroit Tigers 6-0 in a Friday night showdown.
Designated hitter Pedro Alvarez led the offensive charge with a pair of home runs. Manny Machado was also excellent, smacking his ninth round-tripper of the year and raising his average to .356, just a few points behind AL leader Didi Gregorius.
