Chris Davis had never recorded four hits in a game, be it with Texas or the Baltimore Orioles. That streak ended last night as he recorded four, and the Birds defeated Kansas City. The Orioles’ win evened the series at one game a piece, setting up a rubber match this afternoon.
In fairness, the O’s had some help. Kansas City made several unforced errors in the field, however the Orioles took advantage. For the record, Kansas City was never charged with an error. However mental blunders will often just eat you alive, and we saw that last night.
