The Bowie Baysox (Double-A affiliate) defeated the Harrisburg Senators (Washington affiliate) 12-5 on Saturday afternoon in front of 2,761 fans at FNB Field to clinch the Eastern League’s Western Division pennant. The Baltimore Orioles affiliate will now face the Trenton Thunder (New York Yankees affiliate) in a best of five series for the championship starting Tuesday, September 10th at Arm & Hammer Park in New Jersey.
The Baysox were led on Saturday by outfielder Cedric Mullins who went 5 for 6 with three runs scored, one double, one triple, one home run, four RBI, one strikeout and one stolen base.
