Baltimore Orioles: Birds Select Gunnar Henderson and Kyle Stowers To Finish Day One

Adley Rutschman is, of course, all Baltimore Orioles fans will be talking about for the next few days, but the team did have two more picks to make late Monday evening.

The Orioles made the 42nd overall selection to kick-off the 2019 MLB Draft’s second round and took infielder Gunnar Henderson. Later with the 71st overall pick in the second of two competitive balance round’s the O’s took outfielder Kyle Stowers.

Henderson is a shortstop from the John T. Morgan Academy in Alabama. Several projected the young infielder as a first-round selection.
