Adam Jones sells former Cal Ripken Jr. mansion for $3.55 million

A sprawling 24-acre Baltimore County estate owned by Orioles alumnus Adam Jones, and previously by Cal Ripken Jr., has sold for $3.55 million.

Jones listed the 21,890-square-foot, six-bedroom Worthington Valley mansion for sale for $3.995 million in March. The sale comes less than a year after he purchased the home at auction from the Ripken family, who bought the land in 1984 and built the house in 1987.

Listing agent Karen Hubble Bisbee, of Long & Foster Real Estate, said Jones and his wife, Audie, settled Tuesday morning.
