YORKTOWN, Ind. – Large cement bricks fortify the Tiger Field backstop. The faces of these staggered blocks are etched with the names of players, coaches, and teams that have impacted the history of the Yorktown baseball program.
One brick, which lies at the far end of the Yorktown’s third base dugout, is engraved with Tigers head coach PJ Fauquher’s name on it.
It is only fitting that Fauquher is a part of the literal foundation of the program as his ties to Yorktown baseball run deep, and they will forever live on with his most recent accomplishment.
