YORKTOWN, Ind. — Reid Neal and Austin Hill began attending football camps together the summer after their sophomore years at Yorktown.
They’d put in extra work outside of school and on weekends prior to that, sure. They had been pushing each other to improve since they first started playing together in sixth grade. But that summer, those camps, that’s when their efforts truly picked up. The success they enjoyed against other prospects helped them realize they each had a shot at playing in college — maybe even at the Division I level.
