MUNCIE, Ind. — Yorktown boys soccer has won back-to-back sectional titles but only advanced past regionals in 2007.
The 2021 Tigers (15-2) are senior-laden group hungry to advance, knowing they have a chance to be one of the best teams in school history. Head coach Shane Guinn has been with this core since they were freshmen, and even if they fall at Bishop Dwenger (11-4-2) at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 14, he'll remember this group as one that changed the program for the better.
“We’re all going to reflect on (this season) as a tremendous success," Guinn said.
