Yes, Froedge 'can get buckets,' but Blue River's winning because of the growth of its 1,000-point scorer

MUNCIE, Ind. — Andrew Froedge has always been able to score.

It took the senior just 54 varsity games to surpass the 1,000-point mark for his career, something he accomplished in a win over Daleville on Dec. 20. Since transferring into Blue River his sophomore season, Froedge has consistently averaged just below 19 points per game each season.

Coach Brian Klein summed it up best:

"He's our senior leader. He's our leading scorer," Klein said. "He can get buckets."

Froedge showed his scoring ability in Blue River's 68-57 win over Wapahani Saturday night.
