MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State women's tennis team, which earned an automatic bid by winning the Mid-American Conference regular season title, will face Vanderbilt in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
Ball State and Vanderbilt will meet Friday, May 7 at time to be determined. The winner will advance to play Saturday, May 8 against the winner of the other first-round match in Columbus, Ohio State versus UIC.
The Cardinals etched their name into the Ball State record books once again this season, claiming the program's third MAC regular season championship in the past five conference seasons.
