KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Each and every Mid-American Conference match is important, and todays was no exception as the Cardinals managed to take home a 6-1 win against a very competitive and successful Western Michigan team Sunday afternoon at Sorenson Courts.
Ball State (12-2, 3-0 MAC) extended its win streak to 12 with its victory over the Broncos (11-1, 3-1 MAC) but it wasn't like the Cardinals breezed through today's competition. As head coach Max Norris said after the contest the Cardinals showed amazing toughness against a strong and spirited Western Michigan team.
It was a competition on every court, said Norris, but Ball State prevailed earning the first point early on after taking the doubles competition.
