YPSILANTI, Mich. -The Cardinals highly anticipated Mid-American Conference season has officially begun as Ball State earned an impressive 6-1 win at Eastern Michigan today in its league opener.
The Cardinals (10-2, 1-0 MAC) have now won their 10th straight match in row when they defeated the Eagles (6-5, 0-1) this afternoon at the Chippewa Club.
"Great first match for us," Ball State head women's tennis coach Max Norris said. "Eastern Michigan is a very smart, persistent and mentally tough team. They give you absolutely nothing. We had to focus every point and every game.
