MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State women's tennis team is set to host the second annual Bethany Moore Invitational at the Cardinal Creek Tennis Center this weekend (Oct. 4-Oct. 5).
The Bethany Moore Invite is named in honor of 2016 graduate Bethany Moore who helped Ball State to that year's Mid-American Conference championship and the program's first NCAA Tournament berth. Moore tragically lost her life after a 2017 car accident in Hamilton County. The Cardinals dedicated a bench in her honor last spring at Cardinal Creek Tennis Center.
The two-day event features 33 players from five different NCAA Division I programs.
