DAYTON, Ohio - The Ball State women's tennis team (13-2) extended its win streak to 10, after tallying a 6-1 dominating win at Wright State (11-3) Friday afternoon.
The Cardinals cruised past the doubles matches, claiming a commanding 6-1 victory from the No. 3 doubles tandem of Carmen Blanco and Bethany Moore. Blanco and Moore continue to excel on the court, as they were last weeks’ Mid-American Conference Doubles Team of the Week. At No. 2 doubles, the Ball State pair of Julia Sbircea and Toni Ormond, clinched the doubles point for the Cardinals after their 6-3 defeat over Linsey Verstrepen and Karolina Haller.
