MUNCIE, Ind. — There is no panic in Ball State’s defensive meeting rooms.
Ohio might have gashed BSU’s run defense. Western Michigan might have done the same. But the Cardinals aren’t scrambling to unearth some magic formula. There are no cracks in the foundation laid that enabled them to progress as far as they had. There’s only been a further emphasis in what allowed Ball State’s run defense to be third in the Mid-American Conference during its three-game winning streak to open conference play.
