MUNCIE, Ind. — There were several times Saturday when a Muncie Central fast break ended with a pass going out of bounds.
But during the second half of the Bearcats' 71-35 victory over Daleville — whether the ball sailed over the head or just past the outstretched arms of a teammate — Central head coach Ron Howell and his assistants showed the same enthusiasm on those fast break turnovers as they did when the Bearcats scored a bucket.
Not because they were celebrating the turnover itself but rather how the offensive opportunity was created in the first place.
