It was the question that hung over Luke Bumbalough everywhere he went. Even he didn’t know the answer for a while.
“I would run into a lot of people in New Castle, and it was always, ‘Which one is it, Luke? Basketball or football?’” Bumbalough said with a laugh. “And I was like, ‘I don’t know yet!’”
The New Castle rising senior has always been one of the top basketball players in the area in his age group, playing varsity as a freshman and then stepping into a leading role as a sophomore and junior.
