MUNCIE, Ind. — Ball State didn’t hesitate to put the football back in Caleb Huntley’s hands.
The Cardinals’ second drive of the third quarter during their game this past Saturday against Florida Atlantic had ended just a few minutes earlier on Huntley’s first fumble of the season. Tired after rushing for a first-down on the preceding play, the Ball State running back said he wasn’t thinking as he held the ball lower than he should have as he ran with it toward FAU’s goal line.
