GASTON, Ind. — Wes-Del baseball is off to its best start in more than a decade and the Warriors, well, they might just be getting started.
Sitting at 9-5-1, the Warriors are on pace to finish with the most wins they've had since 2011, when they finished 13-13 and won their last sectional title. This past week, Wes-Del took down Daleville — which started the season ranked No. 1 in Class A — and Blue River to improve to 4-2 in Mid-Eastern Conference play.
Wes-Del's only losses this year came at the hands of Class 2A schools.
