MUNCIE, Ind. — There's no game plan that tells high school athletic directors the best way to return to sports during a global pandemic.
Yes, the Indiana Department of Education worked with health officials and received input from the Indiana High School Athletic Association to create guidance and a three-part phased reentry plan for athletic programs to follow. But there are still the logistics, from how to deal with the daily screenings of coaches and athletes for COVID-19 symptoms to scheduling facility time for each sport, that every school has had to deal with.
