Delta took its first step toward another state finals appearance Saturday with a 5-0 sweep of Muncie Central in the girls tennis sectional final at Delta. The Eagles didn’t lose a set. From Ellie Snider at No. 1 singles to Mayzie Hinkle and Abby Bamidele at No. 2 doubles, from Tynan Dishman and Maggie Manor at No. 1 doubles to Gwendolyn Clark at No. 2 singles, and Maggie Hunt and No. 3 singles, the Eagles soared and lost just five combined games.
A 60-5 advantage.
