WBB’s Late Fourth Quarter Run Not Enough In Loss At Toledo

TOLEDO, Ohio - The Ball State women's basketball teams late fourth quarter run wasn't enough, as the Cardinals fell short to Toledo in a 72-66 loss Wednesday night in Savage Arena.
With the loss, the Cardinals fall to 14-3 overall and 3-3 in the Mid-American Conference while the Rockets improve to 13-5 on the year and 4-2 in league action.

For the second-straight game, senior forward Destiny Washington led the Cardinals in scoring with 19 points while teammate senior forward Moriah Monaco finished the night with 17. Monaco has now scored in double figures for the Cardinals 70 times in her career and she now moves into 10th place on the program's all-time scoring list with 1,356 career points.
