MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State women's basketball team advanced to the second round of the Women's National Invitation Tournament (WNIT) for the first time since 2016 after defeating Middle Tennessee 69-60 Thursday night in Worthen Arena. The Cardinals will now host Big Ten foe Purdue Sunday at 2 p.m. in Worthen Arena.
