MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State women's basketball team will make its first appearance of the 2017-18 season Wednesday night at 7 p.m. in Worthen Arena when the Cardinals host the University of Illinois Springfield in exhibition play.
The Cardinals roster includes seven newcomers and six returnees this season. Ball State returns three All-Mid-American Conference selections from last year's squad; junior honorable mention Carmen Grande (7.3 ppg, 3.2 rpg), senior second team honoree Moriah Monaco (16.1 ppg, 6.3 rpg) and senior sixth player of the year Destiny Washington (10.2, ppg, 6.2 rpg).
