BUFFALO, N.Y. - - The Ball State women’s volleyball team opened the month of October with a bang, hitting a season-best .311 (54-17-119) to sweep host Buffalo Saturday night Alumni Arena.
In picking up the 3-0 (25-19, 25-17, 27-25) victory, the Cardinals improved to 3-1 in Mid-American Conference action and to 7-11 on the year. Ball State has won seven of its last nine matches.
“We played three complete sets tonight from start to finish,” first-year head coach Kelli Miller said. “Our offense was balanced and that allowed us to keep the Buffalo defense guessing.
