MUNCIE, Ind. - - In its only tune-up before the 2018 season, the Ball State women's volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over UIndy Friday night in exhibition play at Worthen Arena.
Playing in front of a loud, vocal and supportive home crowd, the Cardinals rolled to a .425 attack percentage to win the match in straight sets.
"Our main focus tonight was being aggressive," head coach Kelli Miller said. "From point one, we talked about being aggressive on every swing, having intent with every swing. I felt like we came out swinging from the get go, and we gained a lot of confidence early which allowed us to continue to roll throughout the match.
