JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - - Battling some of the toughest competition in the country, Ball State track and field sprinters Bryeana Byrdsong and MaQuila Norman turned in a pair of strong performances Thursday evening in the first round of the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field East Preliminary Championships held at North Florida's Hodges Stadium.
A junior sprinter from Indianapolis, Indiana, Byrdsong was the first up for the Cardinals Thursday, taking 36th overall in the 100m with a time of 11.
