Three takeaways from Ball State football's 45-20 victory at Western Michigan

Ball State (3-3, 1-1 MAC) earned a resounding 45-20 Mid-American Conference victory over Western Michigan (4-2, 1-1 MAC).

Tied 17-17 at halftime, Ball State dominated the second half. The Cardinals forced four turnovers, which led to 28 points. While the running game struggled, Drew Plitt had his best game of the season and the offense was efficient, scoring touchdowns on nearly half of its possessions.
