For the second straight season, Miami (Ohio) (4-4, 3-1 MAC) defeated Ball State (4-4, 2-2 MAC) in the Red Bird Rivalry. And for the second straight season, the game was sealed thanks to a late interception from the RedHawks.
Ball State had its chances to win, to move to 3-1 in the Mid-American Conference and to control its own destiny in hopes of returning the to the conference championship. Now, the Cardinals are going to need some help after a setback at Scheumann Stadium Saturday.
