MUNCIE, Ind. — Jasmin Samz is shaking her head.

The graduate guard has just helped Ball State beat Toledo 66-60 in a matchup her coach, Brady Sallee, would describe postgame Wednesday as “intense” and a “slugfest.” The Cardinals have protected their home floor at Worthen Arena again. They have completed a regular season sweep of the Rockets.
