Takeaways from Ball State’s 34-23 loss against North Carolina State

MUNCIE, Ind. — Ball State appeared at first as if it may challenge North Carolina State on the road. The Cardinals even owned a 7-6 lead on the Wolfpack at the end of the first quarter. But NC State proved to be too much for BSU (1-3) to overcome and as the game wore on the Wolfpack (3-1) pulled away and eventually won 34-23.
