MUNCIE, Ind. — Ball State football collected its first win of the 2020 season Wednesday with a 38-31 victory at home against Mid-American Conference foe Eastern Michigan.
The Cardinals, who beat the Eagles in 2019 as well, came into the contest after a close defeat on the road last week against Miami (Ohio). BSU head coach Mike Neu said after that loss his team needed to remain confident and get back to work ahead of the matchup against EMU. And while Ball State had to mount a comeback, it left the evening with a 1-1 record while Eastern Michigan dropped to 0-2.
