PLYMOUTH, Ind. — The day began at the New Castle Fieldhouse early Saturday morning for serving and passing and then continued at Stacks for breakfast, followed by the three-hour bus ride up to Plymouth.
No one slept on the way to Plymouth – too much excitement.
“Whole bus ride, we were talking about it,” Melani Shaffmaster said. “We were just nervous because we had never played this team before. We had watched a lot of film, so we didn’t know if we were over-prepared or not. Then we came in and just decided it doesn’t really matter, and we had to play our game.
