CLEVELAND, Ohio - - After blasting three home runs and tallying 10 RBIs in last weekend's series win at Western Michigan, Ball State softball sophomore designated player Kendall Fields has been named the Mid-American Conference Player of the Week.
"Kendall did a great job hunting her pitch and came up big when the team needed her," head coach Megan Ciolli Bartlett said. "She is a tremendously hard worker and a good teammate. It's great to see those things pay off."
Fields, a first-time career MAC Player of the Week honoree, finished the three-game series with four RBI hits and a 1.
