MUNCIE, Ind. - - The official path for the Ball State women's soccer team to defend last year's Mid-American Conference West Division crown has been set, as third-year head coach Josh Rife announced the team's schedule for the 2021 season today (Wednesday, Aug. 4).
The Cardinals finished the non-traditional 2020-21 spring season with a record of 6-3-1, winning five of its final six regular season contests to secure its spot in the MAC Championship game for the second time in the past three seasons. Four players off last year's roster earned MAC postseason honors, while Rife was tabbed the MAC Coach of the Year.
