The Cardinals defeated Buffalo 1-0 in the Mid-American Conference opener for Roberts’ 100th career victory as a collegiate head coach.
It was Roberts’ 66th victory with the Cardinals (after 34 at UT Martin) as he inched closer to Ron Rainey’s school record of 70 wins.
“I’m pleased to be able to get the 100th win against a quality team like Buffalo,” Roberts said. “They’re always very hard-working, very well-organized.
