Senior Night for 'DJ'; Michael Lewis thanks Muncie community for support in Year 1

MUNCIE, Ind. — Although Ball State men's basketball honored two players for Friday's Senior Night, only one, Demarius Jacobs, definitely played his final game in Worthen Arena.

"DJ" exited with 44 seconds remaining and the Cardinals' contest against Toledo already decided. The Chicago native was met with a standing ovation from the 4,441 fans in attendance, recognizing his two-way impact during BSU's historic 2022-23 regular-season campaign.

"Enjoy the moment, every single moment during the time that I was out there and hearing the cheers," Jacobs said of his mindset entering his last home game. "Just enjoy everything and don't miss it.
