MUNCIE, Ind. -- Ball State’s Sean Sellers was selected to the Academic All-Mid-American Conference Team for men’s basketball, as announced Tuesday by the league.
A sophomore from Greensburg, Indiana, Sellers is a sport administration major. His 3.576 GPA is the highest of anyone named to the 13-member team.
Sellers came on strong down the stretch, averaging 11.1 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.7 assists over the final 11 games. He matched his career high with 26 points on a career-best seven 3-pointers in Ball State’s Feb. 27 win over Eastern Michigan.
For the season, Sellers averaged 6.
