Rundown: Yorktown reaches 20 victories; Winchester wins another sectional

MUNCIE, Ind. — Yorktown is going into sectional play on a high note. After winning the Delaware County championship last weekend, the Tigers wrapped up HHC play with a sweep.

Yorktown took down Mount Vernon 10-4 and 5-3 on Friday night, giving the Tigers 12 wins in their last 13 games.

Dominic Cantanzarite threw a complete game in the opener, allowing four hits and no earned runs while striking out four. Justin Cox, Sully Swingley and Jordan Spangler all had two hits, while Quin Fauquher, Joe Chesterman and Luke Hill all doubled.

In the nightcap, Conner Anderson and Chesterman combined on 3 1/3 shutout innings of relief.
