Roundup: Wapahani boys cross country wins New Haven Classic; volleyball teams dominate

MUNCIE, Ind. — For the first time in school history, the Wapahani boys cross country team won the A Division of the New Haven Classic Invitational.

The Raiders finished with a 103 and were led by Brandon Ellis, who finished third overall with a 17:29.3. Monroe Central also competed in the meet and finished sixth with a 178. Other top-15 performances came from Wapahani's Andrew Shrock (12th, 17:50.1), Monroe Central's Caden Shumaker (14th, 17:55.6) and Wapahani's Griffen Miller (15th, 17:57.6).

In the girls race, Monroe Central finished in ninth place (276 points) and Wapahani was 18th (362 points).
