OXFORD, Ohio - Battling rainy conditions and athletes from most of the MAC ahead of the upcoming outdoor conference championships, the Ball State track & field team turned in a triple jump win and eight top-4 finishes Saturday at Miami's RedHawk Invitational.
Jenelle Rogers won the triple jump to lead BSU, which took a distance-runner-heavy team to the meet that featured several MAC teams to create at least a halfway feel of a conference championship. Rogers, who marked 11.68 at Vanderbilt last week, record 11.62 this time for first place. Half of the 10 entries in the event were from MAC schools.
