MUNCIE, Ind. — Riley Neal is heading south.

The former Ball State quarterback is transferring to Vanderbilt, per a report from 247 Sports. He will play in arguably the best conference in the country, the Southeastern Conference.

One of Ball State's all-time leaders in several passing categories, Neal opted to transfer for his final season of eligibility. He graduated from Ball State this past weekend and is expected to be eligible right away at Vanderbilt.

"They obviously were in the market for a quarterback, I was looking for a school that needed a quarterback," Neal told 247 Sports.
