MUNCIE, Ind. — You can't walk into Cowan Junior-Senior High School without being reminded of the sudden loss of former teacher and boys basketball coach Lee Ingles.
On the front door, there's a yellow sign promoting "#AllforIngles" wristbands. Over the past month and a half, that "All for Ingles" mantra has been a rallying cry for all Blackhawks' athletes, whether on the cross-country course, volleyball court or bowling alley.
Down the hall from the school's entrance, there's a small memorial on a windowsill with a few pictures of Ingles. One of them is of him holding up the net following last year's sectional championship victory.
