CLEVELAND, Ohio - Sophomore Emma Peeler of the Ball State women's tennis team earned Mid-American Conference Co-Women's Tennis Player of the Week, the league office announced Wednesday.
Peeler went 2-0 last weekend for the Cardinals at the No. 1 singles position. She started the week off with a 6-1, 7-6 take down over Northern Illinois' Maria Potsi.
On Sunday, Peeler had the game-winner against Bowling Green's Margarita Tavpash. Peeler took the match in a three-set thriller, 7-5, 5-7, 7-5.
Not only did Peeler find success in singles she also registered wins on the top court in doubles play against both NIU and BGSU.
