YORKTOWN, Ind. — It's been a year since the Yorktown boys golf team finished 12th at state. It was the best finish of any East Central Indiana team since 2014, and left the Tigers hungry to see what they could accomplish this season.
Even after winning a sectional and coming within one stroke of a regional last year, graduating senior Alex Bratton said his team came a long way in the offseason and they were ready to show it.
Yorktown came into the season ranked No. 9 in the state, according to the Indiana High School Golf Coaches Association.
