SOUTH BEND — Notre Dame landed one of its top 2018 recruits Friday afternoon when four-star wide receiver Kevin Austin announced his commitment via Twitter.
Austin, who went to Coconut Creek (Fla.) North Broward Prep, is the second wideout in this class, joining Micah Jones of Gurnee (Ill.) Township. After going 4-8 last season, the Fighting Irish are up to 16 commits — nine of which have four-star ratings — for its 2018 class. They are currently rated as the nation's No. 7 class by 247Sports.
