NEW CASTLE, Ind. — Stacie Baldwin is well aware of the sustained level of success that New Castle's volleyball program has seen.
As a player, Baldwin grew up just north of New Castle in Yorktown, where she was a two-time All-State volleyball player for the Tigers before becoming a four-year starter at Ball State. As a coach at Columbus East, she competed against the three-time reigning state champion Trojans twice in the previous five seasons.
Now, she'll lead them. On Thursday, Baldwin was named New Castle's new head volleyball coach.
