MUNCIE, Ind. — Never mind that this is New Castle volleyball coach Sarah Roush’s first season on the job. Last week was a roller coaster in and of itself.
Roush was on the Wapahani gym floor until about 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13, celebrating after her Trojans beat Delta for the sectional championship. About two hours later she was in the hospital, and 12 hours after that giving birth to her firstborn child. And then less than a week later, last Saturday, she was leading her team to its second straight regional championship.
