PARKER CITY, Ind. — Monroe Central is searching for a new boys basketball coach.
On Thursday, Monroe Central posted an opening for the head varsity boys basketball coach. For the last eight years, that position has been held by Justin Ullom, who posted a 119-72 record and, last season, led the Golden Bears to a 25-1 record, their first 2A sectional championship and first sectional championship since 2010. Monroe Central finished the 2021-22 season ranked No. 1 in the Class 2A Associated Press Poll.
In his eight seasons, Ullom has only recorded one losing record, which came in 2016 (11-14).
